Two Cities. One Name.
Palermo Havana & Co. was born from a family story, not a marketing idea. It is a story of names carried forward, freedom fought for, and jewelry chosen with the hope that it will still mean something generations from now.
The Name
A Lineage Carried Forward
For eight generations, the name Enrique Antonio Aponte has been carried through our family. Our background began in Spain, and with Enrique Antonio Aponte IV, the family story crossed into Cuba.
Generations later, my father, Enrique Antonio Aponte VII, became a political prisoner in Cuba and fought to bring me to freedom in the United States.
I was born in Cuba and came to America when I was two and a half years old. I carry that history in my own name, Abner Enrique Antonio Aponte, the only one in our line to carry Abner with Enrique Antonio Aponte.

Two Places That Became a Promise
Havana is where my family's strength, sacrifice, and faith were shaped. Palermo entered my life through my wife, whose family is Sicilian from Palermo.
Together, those two names became Palermo Havana & Co.: a house built on heritage, family, and the belief that meaningful jewelry should feel personal from the first conversation to the final piece.
To us, jewelry is not only gold, diamonds, and craftsmanship. It is memory. It is promise. It is family.
