The best way to find ring size
The most reliable option is to have the finger measured by a jeweler using ring sizers. If you already own a ring that fits the same finger, measure the inside diameter or bring it to a jeweler for sizing.
At-home measuring tips
- Measure near the end of the day, when fingers are usually closer to their normal size.
- Avoid measuring when hands are very cold, very hot, or swollen.
- Measure the exact finger and hand the ring will be worn on.
- Use a printable sizer only if it is printed at 100% scale.
- Measure more than once and compare results before ordering.
Band width matters
Wider bands often feel tighter than thin bands. If you are choosing a wider setting or wedding band stack, sizing may need more attention. A narrow solitaire may feel different from a wide band in the same size.
If the ring is a surprise
